In the late ‘80’s I was settling a nice injury claim against a homeowner’s insurance company when I was faced with the proposition of dealing with the lien against my client’s claim asserted by my client’s OWCP federal workers compensation (FWC).

I was shocked to learn that the government had no intention on helping me in the mediation and, as I researched more about their procedures, I learned there was a major malpractice trip awaiting personal injury attorneys in this scenario.

Having been forced to learn about the fwc system I learned why few lawyers want that type of practice but, because I had learned about it, it became natural to me – so we have worked on those cases for decades now.

This work has helped me to assist personal injury attorneys all over the country in not only resolving their fwc lien but I’m also helping them to build their clam medical and wage loss claim with fwc benefits as well as even showing that the injury caused the employee to lose his job and has had to retire early.
